CPA geometry is retained as the authoritative source, while US Census Bureau attributes are added to provide additional context and consistency. City Boundary geometry is generated by CPA using data submitted by local municipalities for sales taxation purposes. Cities that do not currently collect sales tax are not included within this dataset. TxGIO has prepared this basemap dataset to support planning, mapping, and analysis.
